*Reveals & Girly Girls Trip*

I have the rest of my For The Luv of Art July reveals to share:

I've been wanting to do a layout for quite a while using both of

the kids SR. photo's that eight 18 photography took.

I thought this was the PERFECT opportunity, to mix the banner

with the photo's....

I really like how it all came together.

I even pictured it this way, LOL!

Aren't the stamps in this kit CUTE!

I love that banner stamp, designed by Norma Kennedy!

The "♥ u" is another fave.

 

My sweet SWEET husband of 20 years...

I'm a lucky girl...no wait, luck doesn't have anything to do with it...

I'm a BLESSED girl.

I found this wall near one of our FAVORITE eating establishments (Babes, YUM!)
and just had to take my girls pic next to it....

That's it for July.
I JUST received August's goodness and after I get home from my
girls trip I'll start creating! (wait til you see THOSE stamps!)

Speaking of girls trip...
Early tomorrow morning Savannah, myself & some friends are driving
to San Marcos, Texas for a little shopping overnight trip. I'm SO excited!!
Girls getaway...just what we need.
Savannah's heading back to Baylor Sunday.
::sigh::

Sidekick...
this is what I call my sweet friend's little girl, Alexandra.
She's so CUTE. SO cute. So funny...always making us laugh..
We LOVE this precious little girl. She's like family :D

For my last layout for Tessa Ann's The Button Shop
I wanted to do a page about this photo I captured
of Savannah & Alexandra at Savannah's graduation tea.
I love how it turned out. I altered the color of the photo so it
would perfectly match what I had in mind to do on this page:

I think it turned out so cute!

First up I can't WAIT to show you the Summer 2010 release from Shimmerz:

Aren't these colors just delicious?? I don't know about you,
but this makes me crave a snowcone something fierce!

I made a little mini for the Shimmerz booth at CHA. If you get to go,
stop by and check it out in person. (they're sharing a booth with Glitz Design)
I wish I was going...maybe next one.
My mini is kind of like an album I've done before (for my mommy) with
bible verses and positive thoughts...Shimmerz requested one, so I happily
made this one:























(the cover is FULL of the new Pop Art Pink. Is it NOT the perfect pink?
I'm drooling...I even finished my entire bottle on this project. I need a refill!)

I've been wanting to do a little mini of our Tday trip -- using some of my
fave shots from the trip.
When Margie sent me this kit I KNEW it was perfect for my idea...
I used a Maya Road house album I've had for a couple of years now..
decided it would be so CUTE covered in all the gorgeous papers...
here's what I came up with....cover:

the last page is near & dear...that's my hubby's daddy. He lives in
North Carolina and just ADORES when we bring the grands to see him.
He's the highlight of our trip!

I LOVE how it looks!! The computer can also be a t.v. so he put it where it's

right in front of my bed. Now we curl up in bed & watch tv....love!

Just a little shout out post today to my honey...
I'm so proud of him.
He's not only the BEST hubby a girl could ever dream of,
OR the best dad around....(we've got 2 lucky ducky kiddo's!)

He's also one who takes chances, believes in himself, does
what he's always wanted to do...

today he sent in his first query letter to a publisher about
something he's got in his noggin. WOOT!
We're crossing everything that he gets a call,
his idea is fabulous. I've seen it.

So to you, my sweet hubby -- this post is dedicated to you.
I not only love you with all that I am..
I believe in you,
I stand by you...
I'm truly proud of you,

Since I was a wee one, I can remember my family celebrating this day...

flying flags...

wearing red, white & blue,

celebrating our Independence...

all because of:

freedom.

Freedom that all our military has fought for every day since way back when.

So I salute all of you.

I fly my flag for you.

I continue to wear my red, white & blue for you.

I celebrate you.

I pray for you. For your families

For our fallen heroes. For their families.

But most of all....

I thought I'd leave you today with a couple of layouts I did for my

local scrap store, Scrappers Boutique.

I got to play with the new Jilibean Soup paper...(New England Chowder)

and I LOVE the kraft..love love love it!
