*Twenty in Twelve*

Someone has gone and grown up on me.
like overnight.
Today this guy

is 20 years old. WHAT! Wasn't he just born yesterday?
I know, every parent says that & means that -
but really, wasn't he? My sweet son.
He's grown into such a wonderful man!
So tall, so handsome, so amazing.

He's smart, witty, handsome, fabulous, charming,

loving, kind hearted, makes you laugh so hard your chest hurts kind of funny,

crazy, amazing boy.

I'm sad we didn't get to see him today on his day - but he's down at school

getting ready for his finals & will be home next week & we'll celebrate BIG then!

In honor of his special 20th birthday I'm sharing a few of my favorite

layouts of him:

hi friends! happy tgif!
crazy busy day over here at the Ashe batch.

Funny story - got up this morning to take my cute
husband to his day of "jury duty" (well the summons day...)
drop him off, get almost home (well maybe a stop for breakfast)
and he calls...
"you're going to laugh. I'm not supposed to be here
until 1:30. If I'd checked my email - I would know that."
SOOO back I go to get him....men, what would we do without them? ;D
and here I am now :D
Today I'm sharing a "focus on flower Friday" project

I FINALLY did a little layout about my new scrap studio
my husband helped me (who am I kidding..he did all the
HARD work, LOL!) put together. I still sit in this room in AWE!
It's been a DREAM come true!

We did!! I had so much FUN with my family I never got my big camera out for ANY photos!
It was a little bittersweet for me - to be honest.
It's my first Easter without Shaypher being there...WEIRD.
I know there's more to come, but wow, that was just way odd!

*Prima Fun*

Hi everyone! It's almost TGIF!
Is it weird that every day to me is almost TGIF?
my days run together like mad.

It's almost Easter! Just a few more days!
Wow...it's hard to believe March blew in like the wind
and now it's April. Wait...wasn't it just Christmas?
Today I'm sharing some layouts I've done for Prima
that remind me of Spring....

First up is my beautiful girl -

For this layout, I used the gorgeous Pan Pastels plus some Ranger ink -

I really like the effect the ink had on the pastels - there's a slight "red" line

around each dot. Way cool...

(Remember how I am about sketches? I STINK at them...

for a visit (which, I've yet to share what little photo's we got when she was here! I'll

save that for another post) - and we met up with my other SWEET sweet friend

Daniela Dobson for a fun day in Waxahachie (which another dear friend met us

to shop - Kim Garner...LOVE her!). We shopped at the loveliest scrapbook store

& ate next door at a YUMMY place called The Dove's Nest. Here we are

having our tea together...I love those girls. That was the BEST day!!
