*American Crafts Remarks Week*

Do you have that ONE "go to" embellishment for your projects?
Something that's just easy, makes the perfect statement & is right
at your fingertips? I DO! It's any of the Remarks stickers by American Crafts.

Last week just happened to be Remarks week
at the American Crafts blog
& I made a couple of layouts using them.

Puppy Love:

I got to combine 2 of my favorite things right now. Lilly (our new puppy)
and Remarks (to describe our sweet girl) - just look at how she sits. All lady like :)
LOVE her to pieces. Love remarks to pieces!

here's another layout I did:
My Reasons:

I took some photo's I took of the kids at the Gaylord Texan &
added them to my photo's on my iPhone.
Then using one of my apps called PicFrame -
I made a collage & saved to my phone.
Then I used another one of my FAVORITE apps called Instagram
& uploaded it there. Finally - I printed my picture in an 8x8 size using
another app I adore:  Postal Pix  (they print the BEST photo's!! You have to
try it out.)

I used Remarks to tell my story. THEY are my reasons...♥

That's it for today, friends!
This week begins lots of fun things - CHA creating, assignments,
a new something (coming soon!) & trying to stay cool in this triple digit heat!

have a great day...
can't wait to tell you all about our weekend full of surprises!
back soon.

*Celebrating Dad*

Last week on the American Crafts blog we celebrated Dads:

I'll be here all day if I were to tell you all the wonderful things about this man.
He's amazing. the kids are so very BLESSED to have him for their dad.

those are my creations for the AC blog - hope you've enjoyed!

Yesterday was Father's Day & what a fun day it was around here!
The kids (and me) took their dad to a sushi dinner Saturday night.
It was a fun night!
We even took a family pic....

(hee!! yes, we're in the car - stopped - trying to figure out who's heads
could fit in where...hilarious.)

check out our family sushi platter:

(just for dad...gosh it was GOOD.)
Oh..if you like sushi & you're in the NRH area, Ahoyama Sushi is GOOD!

Then on Sunday, poor S had to work so the other S went with
us to see MY daddy...whom I forgot to take a picture of and with!
We enjoyed visiting with my parents! I love so much.
I tried so hard to bake cupcakes for dad - would you believe my oven decided
it wanted to go kaput? weird, it just worked that morning!
So I went to the store to grab some
lovely cupcakes & took them to him:

I made the mustache's on my new Cameo. LOVE that thing!
(p.s. the oven worked FINE when we got home, stupid oven.)

Made dad this little card too:

using my Cameo. FUN FUN!
He enjoyed it!
So then my youngest S and I decided we'd take Alan
out for another Father's Day dinner & ended up at
Mexican Inn (YUM):

My boys. ::sigh::. they are so adorable!
♥ them.

that's how we spent our Father's Day!

*Prima June PPP & just a note*

hi everyone! happy tgif!
I've been blog absent AGAIN, haven't I?
sorry, I've been so busy with some fun new things & can't WAIT to share!

I can share this:
today up on the Prima blog is the June PPP
& I made this little something using Songbird - one of my FAVES!
how CUTE is my sweet great niece - Presley Blake. Gosh, I LOVE that child.
She seriously has a smile that lights up not only the room - but EVERYONE's lives!
She's a miracle - a dream come true!

Here's a close up shot:

I used my new Silhouette Cameo for my patterned background.
I LOVE that machine. Seriously- if you don't have one, you NEED to get one.
You'll thank me later.

now for some news.
Normally - I would save this for a post of it's own.
But I decided to add it here - just because.

I've just said goodbye to one of my design teams - Echo Park.
I have SO enjoyed being a part of the design team.
It's been one of my dreams & I just want to thank you, Echo Park,
for allowing me to achieve a dream & because of you - I am who I am!
Thank you for the last year and 3 months. (who's counting, right?)
I adore all of you!

Now to end my post today with some of my last Echo Park projects
(ones that aren't going in any books, just ones I made -)
I hope you enjoy:

that's my girl. gosh i love her!

and one more card:

that's it for today. hope you have enjoyed it & I promise to be back SOON!
